Creative Market 2016: House of Student’s Creativity and Work

BANDUNG, TEL-U – Welcoming the 3rd Anniversary of Telkom University (Tel-U), The Students Affairs held event named Creative Market. Located in the front gate of the School of Creative Industries Sebatik Building (FIK). Creative Market was opened by Rector of Tel-U, Prof. Ir Mochamad Ashari, M Eng, PhD with 3rd Anniversary Chief Executive, Dr Ir Dida Dyah Damayanti, M.Eng in the middle of Fun Walk event, Thursday (22/9).

Dida said Creative Market 2016 is designed to be a house of the creativity and work of Telkom University student. Also, entrepreneurial intended as guidance for Telkom University students on an ongoing basis.

“Creative Market is held in order to motivate students to be more creative and able to become independent entrepreneurs, showcased the work of students and promote the campus environment and to society as well as cross-cultural performances,” said Dida.

This year, Creative Market was attended by 53 booths from both internal and external Telkom University. The type of goods that is displayed is creative stuffs, artsy, traditional to contemporary styles that include creative crafts, painting and sculpture, fashion creative, ornamental plants, and creative culinary.

Not only that, Creative Market activity was also enlivened by the appearance of creative art and culture of various types from Student Activities Unit in Tel-U.

Ashari said Creative Market activity was expected to provide a more cheerful atmosphere especially for the 3rd Anniversary Telkom University.

“If we do not do it, then who else. This is our home that we must guard, which we must improve and increase from year to year, “said Ashari. (Purel / ead)
