BANDUNG, TEL-U – A total of 64 students’ product design exhibited at Pelampong Building Exhibition 2015 in Telkom University (Tel- U), Monday (27/4). The products on display are the result of the final project for Product Design, Plant Design and Business Planning Courses for students of Industrial Engineering class of 2012.
According to professor of Industrial Engineering Muhammad Iqbal, ST., MM, products on display is still a prototype for creating an industrial machine still requires ongoing evaluation tailored to the needs of industry as a user of the product. “Therefore, Industrial Engineering continues to work with industry and establish communication to know what is actually needed by the industry,” said Iqbal.
At the event, the owner of culinary production tools PT. Angsana Bangun Abadi, K. Fuzy Agus also share inspirational insights about his business experience. Similar with Iqbal, Fuzy also recognize products that are made indirectly completely finished. However undergo several changes to the product that he designed was absolutely perfect.
According Fuzy, after going through certain stages, making the production tools should be worth selling. “This tools must be creative, innovative and economic value so that customers are satisfied with the tool so that excellent quality, good economic value and customer benefit,” he said.
