Fresh Graduate Academy Digital Talent Scholarship 2020 Program

ZOOM, 22 September 2020 – Telkom University as the No. 1 in Indonesia continues to improve the quality of existing human resources.

To answer the needs of the competent human resources in the digital world, Telkom University in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication and Information organized the online opening of the 2020 Fresh Graduate Academy Digital Talent Scholarship Program through Zoom on Tuesday (22/09). This program aims to equip the workforce in Indonesia, especially students to do upskilling or enhancing existing skills and reskilling new skills training in the digital field.

This program was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya as Rector of Telkom University. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya said that currently, Indonesia is still facing the challenge of the digital skills gap, namely the insufficient need for experts in the digital field. This program is a form of collaboration carried out by Telkom University with Kominfo as a form of trust that we must carry out.

“This program is one of the programs launched by the government in the form of increasing digital talent which will contribute to advancing this nation. The participants are expected to be able to take as much knowledge as possible, and Insha Allah, with the knowledge, knowledge, and skills acquired will improve our quality and capacity for the benefit of this nation, “he said.

Sony Fajar Surya Alam Gumilang as Chair of the 2020 Fresh Graduate Academy Digital Talent Scholarship Program Committee said that this program aims to increase the hard skills of graduands, especially in the area of ??digital competence, which is carried out through training and certification activities.

“Alhamdulillah, the event is the second year. Even though, this year several schemes did not carry out activities last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia, “he said.

This program was held on 23 September – 26 October 2020 for 35 days online using the Global Tech Company’s Learning Management System (LMS). Following the direction of the Ministry of Communication and Information, Telkom University will manage three themes, namely Cloud Computing, CCNA Network Engineer, and Java Programming.
