BANDUNG, Telkom University – Telkom University (Tel-U) with PT. Pindad (Persero) insists a collaboration in the field of Research, Education and Community Service.
This collaboration is contained in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed directly by the Rector of Telkom University Prof. Adiwijaya and Managing Director (Managing Director) of PT Pindad Abraham Mose, on Tuesday (17/3) at PT. Pindad, Bandung.
In this agreement the two parties agreed on the tri dharma of higher education (Education, Research and Community Service) covering 5 aspects, including; Education and training; Research and Development Activities; Activities or programs related to Innovation, Design, and Creative Sciences; Distribution of Graduates and Career Seminars; and Cooperation in providing human resources services and other facilities needed for the implementation of various programs following needs.
According to Abraham Mose, in broad outline, 2020 is the innovation’s year of PT. Pindad. It has led PT. Pindad to be more competitive business transformation than before by developing strategic patterns, one of which is by collaborating with Telkom University.
“In our opinion, Tel-U is a university that continues to grow, develop and has high-quality, well-developed graduates. The initiation of cooperation has also been carried out with Tel-U to encourage the ability of colleagues at Tel-U to be able to make a design regarding how the defense industry going forward. “He explained.
Prof. Adiwijaya welcomed this collaboration, according to him; this collaboration was also the implementation of the Merdeka Campus for Tel-U Academic Community.
“Te;-U believe that collaboration with PT Pindad will be better so that we can advance the nation together, wherefrom this collaboration can also produce new ideas which will lead to an innovation that can provide good benefits to our nation,” He said.
