Increasing Social Awareness through Community Services Action

BANDUNG, TEL-U – Student Executive Board  Faculty of Communication and Business (BEM FKB) through the Community Service Department conducted Care Action which was held in Suntenjaya Village, Lembang district, West Bandung regency. This activity was divided into two sessions, first on September 25, 2015 and second on 30 October 2015 to 1 November 2015.

In the first session, the Action Care activities started with small mosque facility repaired in Suntenjaya villagers. Then continued with Entrepreneurship Training which is aimed at sharing knowledge with villagers who owned the Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) but still constrained about marketing.

SMEs owned by residents such as plastic waste recycle, livestock waste, wood waste, and small food businesses. The committee provided capable speakers for this training. They are lecturer from FKB Tel-U, Cut Irna FKB Setiawati, SAB, MM and R. Nurafni Rubiyanti, S.MB., MBA.

This training received a good appreciation from the villagers as well as the attendees. This event was expected to develop the marketing of Suntenjaya villagers business and able to train social sensitivity of FKB students in community service activities.

Meanwhile, the second session was divided into different series of events. The first activity was host family distribution to the organizers and volunteers. Host family division was intended to help organizers and participants mingled with their host family. (PurelEAD / BEM-FKB)
