Interior Design Students Exhibit The Works at Beranda 2016

BANDUNG, TEL- U – Students from School of Creative Industry Interior Design Telkom University (FIK Tel-U) exhibited their work in the event of “Beranda 2016: The 2nd Interior Design Exhibition”. The event which was held in Indonesia Menggugat Building, on Perintis Kemerdekaan Road Bandung was lasted for two days, from April 23 to 24.

All the masterpieces displayed at Beranda was created by Interior Design students from class of 2012 to 2014. The works shown included two-dimensional Nirmana, three-dimensional Nirmana, basic drawing, furniture design, and mockups.

In addition, the event also displayed the Olympic Chair, the masterpiece of Muhammad Alaftha Kurniadi, the alumna of Interior Design Tel-U. This work was exhibited in International Furniture Messe (IMM) on 18-24 January 2016 in Cologne, Germany.

“We display the Olympic Chair in Beranda 2016 in order to encourage Interior Design students to continue working and take a part on international competition,” said Chairman of Beranda 2016, Fakhri Naufal Marzuq.

Besides the work of Interior Design students, also exhibited the works from Fine Arts, Product Design, Visual Communication Design and Textile Craft Mode.

Fakhri said that this exhibition became the way to strengthen the kinship for School of Creative Industries. “In university life, we can not only develops by our self, we develop because there are some sides involved,” he said. (Purel / EAD)
