BANDUNG, Telkom University – With the enactment of Work From Home and Study From Home activities within the Telkom University (Tel-U) based on the Rector circular Number: 045 / SKR4 / REK / 2020 concerning Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) Emergency Status in the Environment Telkom University. So in that period Telkom University will provide subsidies in the form of internet quota worth Rp. 300,000, – for all Telkom University students to facilitate teaching and learning activities.
Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Adiwijaya said that this subsidy was given to all Tel-U students in order to expedite teaching and learning activities. In addition, the provision to provide subsidies was also supported by several policies, including policies from the Directorate General of Higher Education No: 302 / E.E2 / KR / 2020 and Policies Telkom Education Foundation Number: ND. 04579 / YAYASANPENDIDIKANTELKOM-YPT / DHE-02/2020 related to providing internet subsidy assistance.
“The mechanism for internet quota granting will be implemented by the Academic Directorate, where all students will be injected internet quota based on data in the TelU academic system portal (iGracias).” He explained.
The Chancellor hopes that the internet quota given can be put to good use by Tel-U students so that each student is able to gain competency from each course well.
“We (Tel-U) hope that the students in the midst of this pandemic remain enthusiastic to study, and continue to innovate, and I will not forget to advise them to maintain their health and maintain physical distancing.” He said
In addition to the teaching and learning process and all activities that take place online, Prof. Adiwjaya also explained that the final siding would be carried out online. Not only that, the activities of new student admissions, career consulting, English courses, EPrt courses and other services at Telkom University have been carried out in an integrated manner and have been run online.
