BANDUNG, Telkom University – Medcom. id visited Telkom University (Tel-U) as a form of friendship as well as introducing the Medcom.id Online Scholarship Competition (OSC) program in 2021. The visit took place at Telkom University’s Bangkit Building, Thursday (4/3).
On this visit, the Rector of Telkom University Prof. Adiwijaya accompanied by Vice Rector III for Admissions, Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Dida Diah Damajanti, welcomed the arrival of the leadership of the Media Group which was led directly by the CEO of Media Group, Mirdal Akib, CEO of Medcom.id, Kania Sutisnawinata, Metro TV presenter Widya Saputra, and Head of Corcomm Medcom.id Findo Gading.
In his remarks, Prof. Adiwijaya expressed his gratitude for the visit of the Media Group and Medcom. id teams to Telkom University, and thanks for all the support that medium. id has given Tel-U in the recruitment process of Tel-U students.
“Thank you (Tel-U) to medium. id and the media group for the OSC program that has been held, through this program we can reach students from all over Indonesia because we (Tel-U) want to play a role and continue to contribute in advance the Indonesian nation by printing the best generation for the nation. ” He said.
Media Group CEO, Mirdal Akib said that Telkom University as the best private university (PTS) in Indonesia has transformed into a small Indonesia because on this campus many young and young aspiring generations of the nation from all over Indonesia gathered here.
“Thank you for the welcome given to us, and our purpose for coming here is besides staying in touch, we further want to contribute together with Tel-U in making Indonesia even better in the future.” He explained.
In addition to the gathering event, Mirdal said, after gaining the success of the OSC program in 2020, this year the OSC will reopen the scholarship program in 2021, Mirdal hopes that the collaboration with Telkom University in the world of education through the Medcom.id OSC program can continue to work together to build outstanding human resources (HR). Mainly in facing Indonesia’s demographic bonus in 2030.
“This year we will reopen the OSC program, where this year it is targeted that there will be 55 thousand participants for the OSC program. Also, in this year’s OSC program there will be 2 new programs, namely the independent campus OSC program, where there will be student exchanges between campuses where this will open opportunities for students to study across universities and study programs, and an internship program, opening up internship opportunities for students participating in the independent campus to intern at the Media Group for 6 months. ” He said.
