Nurizandhini Sabilla Desthu Crowned as 3rd Place at News Presenter Competition in Padjadjaran Univer

BANDUNG, TEL – U – Nurizandhini Sabilla Desthu, student from Communication Sciences School of Communication and Business (Ikom FKB) 2013, won 3rd place in the News Presenter Competition. This competition is part of Protocol Fair KPM Padjadjaran University, 2016.

Protocol Fair KPM Padjadjaran University in 2016 was organized by Student Corps Protocol (KPM) Padjajaran University in Bale Padjadjaran Sawala Jatinangor, Sunday (4/12). This year there are two types of competitions, such as News Presenter and Protocol MC.

Desthu said, News Presenter contest only be held in one round only. On that round, the participants received a news text based on the sweepstakes and was required to read the text directly in front of the jury and the audience.

“It was a challenge for myself, because I read the text manuscript without see it before and be immediately given a vote,” said Desthu who won three of the 47 participants on the competition.

Because the news are read by participants are provided by the committee, then the assessment aspect included articulation, intonation, expression, and appearance, without the material assessment. “The participants have to optimize the four aspects while reading the unknown text, and it is the challenge,” said Desthu.

Desthu explained on this competition she became the representative of SMEs KPM Tel-U. By gaining this title, Desthu hope to be useful for friends especially for KPM. “I hope my friends in KPM can be motivated to win the title as well,” she said. (PR / EAD)
