Payuoge Startup Helps Wholesale and Retail Merchants for Digital Transformation

The growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) in Indonesia is so rapid. This situation can be seen from the data reported by the Ministry of Cooperation and Small and Medium Enterprises (Kemenkop UKM) with the total MSME in Indonesia reaching 8.71 million business units in 2022. Underlying the growth, one of the startups called Payuoge insists to help the UMKM merchants for digital transformation.

CEO of Payuoge, Saiful Rojahki explained that Payuoge is a digital platform that connects wholesale to retail merchants via a mobile application to ease the transaction and increase the sales volume. Payuoge has started its development since July 2022 and came as one of the startups assisted by Bandung Techno Park (BTP) of Telkom University.

Various features are embedded in this application, for instance, Payuoge is able to display the nearest grocery store according to the item that you search for. This feature makes it easier for resellers to find the nearest supplier quickly. Ordering products can also be done online, so there is no need to bother coming to the wholesale merchant.

In addition, payment can be made online with various payment gateway supports. For suppliers, there is a real-time transaction recapitulation feature which makes the bookkeeping a lot easier for the users.

Another important feature for retail business in this app is the Inventory System where users can easily monitor the incoming and outcoming goods and the goods supply (stock opname).

“MSME’s merchants also need to have an overview about their financial health of their business; thus, we also provide a feature to manage debts. This feature is important because the cash flow of MSME is fast. If there is no tracking and monitoring, there will be material detrimental. I hope that would help,” Saiful said.

As the CEO of Payuoge, Saiful mentioned his gratitude to Bandung Techno Park (BTP) for its support to the development of Payuoge startup. The team behind Payuoge gets many benefits from BTP, such as training from professional mentors, co-working space, meeting room, and financial grant.

“During door-to-door survey to users, the app got positive response. We hope that Payuoge will become a reliable partner for wholesale and retail merchants who utilize the digital technology. We will continue to expand, and the target is the entire archipelago,” Saiful hoped.
