BANDUNG, Telkom University – Telkom University through the Directorate of Career, Alumni & Endowment Development Telkom University in collaboration with the Telkom University Alumni Forum (FAST) held an alumni sharing event during the month of Ramadan starting at 16:00 – 17:30 WIB.
This event will be online and can be followed through the ZOOM Meeting application and Telkom University youtube channel.
The inaugural event on Friday (4/24) is opened by FAST President Ahmad Nugraha and also attended by the Rector of Telkom University Prof. Adiwijaya and AT Hanuranto Career, Alumni and Endowment Director.
AT explained that the purpose of this event was a gathering between Telkom University alumni and the campus, with students, lecturers, or fellow alumni.
“Telkom University has alumni spread all over the world, through this activity we want to establish friendships with them, and share their experiences with Tel-U students.” He said.
AT added that through this activity also provided knowledge to students or alumni to get information about experience in the industrial world.
“Graduands will grab some information about the working world.” He said.
Telkom University Rector Prof. Adiwijaya said that a university would be great through its alumni, the campus able to develop and could create outstanding human resources for this country.
Prof. Adiwijaya added that the contribution of Tel-U alumni through FAST brought a good impact to Telkom University, one of which is related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some assistance from FAST lead Tel-U to innovate in fighting against this pandemic.
“Telkom University performs innovation during this pandemic because of FAST Telkom University support, and in the future, we are going to prepare several more innovations to prevent this pandemic.” He said.
The Rector hopes that the gathering with alumni in this blessed month can be attended by students or Telkom University alumni.
“I hope this event can be participated by students and all Tel-U alumni because through this activity we can advance Telkom University together.” He said.
