BANDUNG, TEL-U – Telkom University Language Center successfully organized the fifth annual cultural festival events, namely the International Language & Culture Festival (ILCF). Through the themes “Strengthening Local Cultures through Diversity”, ILCF 2016 wanted to convey that Indonesian culture was also interesting compare with other countries and must be preserved that can still be enjoyed by the next generation.
The event, which lasted for two days was held on Saturday – Sunday (1-2 / 10) in Telkom University Convention Hall.
The peak of ILCF 2016 event was opened by Vice Rector III Tel-U, Ir. AMA Suyanto, MBA, DBA with Dr. Ir. Dida Dyah Damayanti, M. EngSC, as Chief Executive 3rd Anniversary Telkom University. This event was attended by a number of leaders of Tel-U, the ranks of Bandung municipal government representatives, representatives of the ranks of the West Java Governor and several other invited guests and winners of each category of the competition.
On the first day, ILCF was enlivened by Photography Competition 2016, Angklung Competition and Story Telling Competition followed by high school, university students and the public category. While on the second day celebrated with various activities of cultural element, such as the International Cooking Day, Culture Show in the form of performances of dance and music and closed with guest star appearances, Yura Yunita.
