SME (UKM) Can Promote Their Product on Video Sharing

BANDUNG, TEL-U – Video sharing facilities often used for entertainment and information, however it’s not a mistake when used to promote the products of SME (Small and Medium Enterprises). Video sharing facility does not need to be costly. Simply connect to the internet, upload promotional video materials, and promote its products.

According to the Head of SMEs Union, Trade and Industry Kabupaten Bandung, Dra. Hj. Hopipah poppy, SME-based economy most able to survive even in the midst of crisis. Therefore, the development of the SME sector continue to be improved in Bandung district. “Kabupaten Bandung now boosting SME-based economy,” she said.

Therefore, Poppy particularly welcome workshop “The use of video sharing sites to market the products of SMEs in Bandung” organized by the Faculty of Informatics, Wednesday (22/4). This community service activities followed by SMEs in Kabupaten Bandung at Bangkit Building Telkom University (Tel-U).

According to Deputy Dean I, Faculty of Informatics, Dr. Adiwijaya, S.Si., M.Si, social media users in Bandung and its surroundings is high. “Bandung, Jakarta, as well as Tokyo and other cities in the world, portray as city with high users of social media. Therefore the use of video sharing is a potential.

Adiwijaya added this workshop becomes a form of positive synergy between Tel-U with the community of SMEs in Kabupaten Bandung. “The university and the community can collaborate mutually beneficial to improve the economy of Indonesia,” he said. (Purel / Risca)
