Excellent Accreditation
Telkom University achieved outstanding accreditation and became the first Private University (PTS) in Indonesia. Outstanding accreditation is achieved when the university succeeds in obtaining superior accreditation, receiving outstanding achievements, and exceeding the National Standards for Higher Education in Indonesia.
Accreditation A
Telkom University is the first private college (PTS) in the region of West Java & Banten, who first obtained accreditation A from the National Higher Education Accreditation Body (BAN-PT) in the year 2016. Up to now only 104 colleges are accredited A of all colleges in Indonesia (4,603 colleges)
The Number 1 Private University
Telkom University was crowned as the best Private Higher Education (PTS) No. 1 from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia for two consecutive years in 2019 and 2020. The ranking of universities focuses on indicators or assessments based on Output – Outcome Base, namely by looking at Input Performance with a weighting of 45% which includes Input performance (20% ) and Process (25%), and Output Performance with a weighting of 55% which includes Output Performance (25%), and Outcome (30%). Based on these assessment indicators, Telkom University excels in terms of outcomes, namely the performance of innovation and community service, the number of citations and patents per lecturer, and the percentage of absorption of graduates by industry within 6 months.
Best Private College
Telkom University was awarded as the Best private college Number one from the Ministry of Research in Technology and higher education of the Republic of Indonesia in 2019. Based on the assessment indicators given by Kemenristekdikti, Telkom University is most prominent in the process of the amount of the number of study Program, already 70% course. At Telkom University accredited A and 59% of which are accredited internationally.
Indonesia Innovation Award
Telkom University is the only private university to win an award in the field of innovation, namely Widyapadhi in 2018 and 2019 for the innovation management category, and in 2020 won the Indonesian Innovation Award for the Innovation Management category. The Widyapadhi Award is an award for the achievements of universities in building Innovation Systems through strengthening policies, institutions, resources, and innovation networks to produce innovative products.
Widyapadhi
Telkom University again received the award of IPTEK Widyapadhi 2019, for the subcategory innovation management. From 570 participating colleges, Tel-U reached number 2 after Hasanuddin University was first ranked after Padjadjaran University at the 3rd stage. Tel-U became the only private college chosen as a college with the best innovations (management, best startup products and spin offs) for the Sub category of innovation Management by the Ministry of Research, Technology and higher Education (Kemenristekdikti).
Independent Clusters
Telkom University is also ranked as the best by the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency (Ristek/BRIN). Telkom University has been included in the Independent Cluster (Highest) for Research Performance of the Ministry of Research and Technology. These results will have an impact on research budget quotas, decentralized fund management under the research master plans of each university, a map of needs for capacity strengthening programs per cluster, and research management mechanisms.
Independen Clusters
Telkom University again ranks best from the Ministry of Research and Technology or national Research and Innovation Agency (Ristek/BRIN), where Telkom University has entered the independent cluster (supreme) for the performance of Kemenristek research. Telkom University succeeded in improving the quality of its research so that it can climb from the main cluster into a independent cluster during the assessment period of 2016-2018.
UI Green Metric
Telkom University achieved prestigious ranking as the 9th greenest campus in Indonesia and is in 123rd position in the world in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2020. UI GreenMetric is a UI innovation that is widely known internationally as the world's first university ranking based on a high commitment to managing the campus environment. The UI GreenMetric 2020 assessment is based on three pillars, namely the environment, economy, and social with the weight of the assessment indicators consisting of Campus State and Infrastructure (15 percent), Energy and Climate Change (21 percent), Waste Management (18 percent), Use of Water (10 percent), Transportation (18 percent), and Education and Research (18 percent).
UI Green Metric
Telkom University achieved Green Campus predicate from UI Green Metric rating, in this ranking UI announces 10 best universities in Indonesia. In the UI of Green Metric World Ranking 2019, and Telkom University successfully ranks 9th national and ranks 135 the world. This Green Campus assessment component is seen based on Setting And Infrastructure, Energy And Climate Change, Waste, Water, Transportation & Education.

Upholding the Tri Dharma, Education, Research and Community Service, in the field of community service, based on the ranking given by the Ministry of Research and Technology, Telkom University has succeeded in occupying the excellent predicate in the university rank based on community service performance for the period 2016-2019.

Telkom University achieved Five Stars (5 Stars) from the 2020 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) assessment covering the fields of Teaching, Employability, Academic Development, Facilities, Inclusiveness. Through the QS World University Rankings (WUR). Telkom University achieved an overall score of 8.1. This makes Tel-U one of the top 9 leading universities in Indonesia. The results of the scores above are based on several assessments including Academic Reputation (5); Employer Reputation (6.2); Citation per Faculty (1.3); Faculty Students (24); International Faculty (4.8); and International Students (2.4).

The 5-Star QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), where the QS indicator is widely used by universities in the world as a reference to world-class university, the 5-Star awards include Teaching, Innovation, Employability, and Inclusiveness categories.
