Tel-U and Oxford Commence the Research Cooperation

JAKARTA, TEL-U – Telkom University (Tel-U) and the University of Oxford (Oxford) meeting to discuss cooperation between the two universities. The meeting mediated by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (Communications) at DJAI Meeting Room office in Jakarta, Thursday (6/8). Cooperation covered research related to Cyber Security.

“An honor remarkable for Telkom University as a research partner. At this cooperation Tel-U will support HR and researchers, “said Rector of Tel-U, Prof. Mochammad Ashari, M.Eng., Ph.D. after the meeting. He added, Tel-U also gained position as the organizers of the Forum Group Discussion (FGD) National Cyber Security Policy Assessment in the near future.

“From this cooperation Tel-U received research experience related to Cyber Security and obtain the results of the research. As well as a network of Tel-U shape in international cooperation, “he said.

As for the Oxford when it is represented by the Secretary of the British Embassy, Colin Cameron, Project Coordinator British Embassy, Dodi Francisco and Researcher of Oxford, Yudishthira Nugraha. The meeting was also attended by the Director General of Communications and Informatics of which of ICT Application Mr. Heru Bambang Tjahjono, Secretari ?ài Mariam F. Brata, Head of Division Legal & Cooperation Antonius Malau.

From Tel-U was also attended by Director of the Research Centre Tel-U, Dr. Ashwin Sasongko Sastrosubroto and Tel-U Researcher, Dr. Helni Muntarsih and Estananto, MBA. (purel / risca)
