Tel-U and Padang State University Collaborate to Improve the Quality of Education and Teaching

UNP dan Tel U Penandatanganan Kerjasama

Bandung, Telkom University – Telkom University, and Padang State University (UNP) signed an online collaboration that took place on Friday (5/2) through Zoom on their respective campuses. The form of this memorandum of understanding is about Cooperation in the Field of Quality Improvement of Education, Education and Teaching, Research and Development, and Community Service. This MoU was signed by the Rector of Tel-U, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya, and UNP Rector, Prof. Drs. Ganefri, M.Pd, Ph, D.

In his remarks, the Rector of Telkom University said, “This collaboration is not only a friendship, more than that it is a form of our contribution in creating a superior and technologically independent generation. Through this collaboration, it means that we can build the nation more easily. We can start doing research collaborations, for example, so that this MoU can be more detailed and implementable and the benefits can be felt immediately for all of us. “ said Adiwijaya.

In more detail regarding the content of the collaboration, the emphasis on the implementation of cooperation at the beginning will be made for the development of the digital transformation process, through Tel-U assistance to UNP to help compile the ICT Master Plan. Furthermore, cooperation can be carried out for the development of Digital Learning to support educational programs during the pandemic, the development of creative industries as part of the implementation of MBKM: Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka, including student exchanges.

UNP Rector, Prof. Drs. Ganefri, M.Pd, Ph, D., Said that the collaboration with Telkom University is a plan that has been going to be implemented for a long time. “In the process, this MoU is running smoothly, hopefully, this will be a sign that what we are doing can have a positive impact on the nation. We admit that we are very proud to be able to cooperate with reputable universities, especially in the field of technology and information,”said Ganefri.
