Kerjasama Tel U dan Pemkot Pariaman

BANDUNG, Telkom University: The signing of the MoU between the Pariaman City Government and Telkom University officially took place on Friday (4/2). The scope of cooperation to be carried out includes HR competency development, a Student internship program; Expert assistance; and IT implementation in government institutions.

It was started by the Mayor of Pariaman, Dr. H. Genius Umar. He expressed his interest in immediately implementing IT in the management of the government system, in line with Presidential Regulation No. 95 of 2018, concerning the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE). In addition, he also wants to eradicate poverty through education (quality human resources).

“We are happy and grateful to be here. Tel-U is a place where our children are educated to become future leaders. Therefore, we want to break the chain of poverty with education in Pariaman free education facilities. Even though his KTP is from a neighboring area, it is free of charge as long as he studies in Pariaman. Hopefully, this collaboration will make a big contribution to Pariaman, as well as this nation.” Umar said.

Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya, explained that Tel-U has often helped the development of remote villages through the Innovillage program for the last few years. The same thing can be done in Pariaman.

“We have Innovillage. It helps small villages that produce innovative products. God willing, we can work together in this field. Barriers to problems can be overcome with IT. In our opinion, IT-based government management is excellent, helping make decisions based on data.” Adiwijaya said.
