Tel-U and State Civil Service Agency Establish Cooperation

Tel U dan Badan Kepegawaian Negara Jalin Kerjasama

Bandung, Telkom University – Telkom University, and the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) signed a collaboration on Friday (26/2) both onsite and online via Zoom in Bangkit Building, Telkom University. The form of this memorandum of understanding is intended as a first step in a mutually beneficial business framework by utilizing the resources, potential, expertise, and facilities of each institution. This MoU was signed by the Chancellor of Tel-U, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya, and Head of the State Civil Service Agency, Bima Haria Wibisana.

In his remarks, the Rector of Telkom University said, “We want to continue to contribute to this nation. In the future, our target is to become a university that focuses on research and innovation. That is one form of Tel-U’s commitment, to welcoming advanced Indonesia and creating a golden generation in 2045. One of our efforts is to facilitate online learning methods or E-Learning. We also continue to improve the system so that it can serve students in real-time. ” said Adiwijaya.

In more detail regarding the content of the collaboration, the scope is about Strengthening the Management and Implementation of ASN Management; then the Operation of an Electronic Based Government System; and Implementation of other duties and functions agreed by both parties. This collaboration will take place in about 3 years since the signing of the MoU.

The head of the State Civil Service Agency, Bima Haria Wibisana said that the collaboration with Telkom University is a step by BKN in digital transformation against the rife disruption. โ€œIndonesia has a demographic bonus that many other countries want. The problem is, can we take advantage of this as an advantage? During disruption on all fronts, collaboration with technology and the innovation-based university is an optimistic step for us. We thank you for this cooperation, โ€said Bima.
