BANDUNG, Telkom University โ Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) Malaysia held the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the nine best campuses from ASEAN and Africa on Thursday (10/3). This collaboration aims to support startup incubation and knowledge sharing between universities.
Telkom University is one of the universities selected by APU from Indonesia. Apart from Tel-U, two other campuses participating in this collaboration are Trisakti University and the University of Indonesia.
The collaboration through a Memorandum of Agreement signed by the CEO of APU, Datuk Parmjit Singh, and representatives from nine universities in a zoom meeting witnessed by Prof. Ir. Ts. Vinesh Thiruchelvam, Chief Innovation & Enterprise Officer of APU.
Representing Tel-U, the signing of the MOA was carried out by the Director of Bandung Techno Park (BTP), Dr. Koredianto Usman, who at the same time introduced the Business Incubator at Tel-U as a superior campus facility in student development in the field of digital startups.
In the future, all affiliated universities will carry out a series of programs, including entrepreneurship education and training, assistance in determining the legality of startup businesses, market testing, providing spin-off funds, grant assistance, and facilitating collaboration with angel investors from the business and industrial sectors.
