Bandung, Telkom University – Telkom University (Tel-U) has been selected as one of the recipients of the Vocational Higher Education (PTV) Partnership Program with Industry, Business, and Work (Iduka) in 2020. This information is attached to a circular from the Ministry of Education and Culture, Directorate General of Vocational Education number 911 / D4 / TU / 2020.
Tel-U has successfully passed two stages of selection carried out by the Directorate of Partnership and Alignment of the Business World and the Industrial World, competing with dozens of other Vocational Universities throughout Indonesia. At the time this information was announced, only 11 vocational universities were eligible to receive the program.
Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya appreciates all the teams involved so much that Tel-U has succeeded in becoming one of the PTVs in a program promoted directly by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
“I appreciate all the Tel-U academics who are involved in helping Tel-U to become the chosen Vocational College in the PTV Partnership program. Hopefully, this will be Tel-U’s step to continue to synergize with the World of Industry, Business, and Work. Making Tel-U a tertiary institution that contributes to building Indonesian human resources into useful individuals, “said the rector.
Of the 11 PTVs that successfully passed it was divided into several Program Priority Areas, eight of which were Creative Economy, two Engineering Programs, and finally Hospitality. For Tel-U itself, it is included in the ranks of the Creative Economy through its Faculty of Applied Sciences.
For information, this program is one of seven programs launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture a few months ago. Being a part of the above programs is a matter of pride for Tel-U, which for two years has been the best private campus in Indonesia.
