BANDUNG, TEL-U – Three students of Telkom University (Tel-U) who are members of Search won 2nd place in the competition trilogy of COIN (Creative Objective Intellective Inspirational) held by the Student Executive Board (BEM) Faculty Economics and Business, University of General Sudirman in Purwokerto, Friday-Saturday (23-24 / 9).
This annual event has been held four times and this year took a theme “Creative Economy Development Challenge of Economic Development in Indonesia” to be divided into three competitions among the Scientific Writing Contest (ICI), Debate Economy, and the National Seminar.
Four teams who managed to pass the economic debate with the theme of “creative economy” are two teams from Tel-U, one of Unsoed and 1 from Sriwijaya University.
Through the process of assessment of the matter, manner and method finally Tel-U B team consisting Muhammad Rizaldi (School of Economics and Business / MBTI / 2015), Novinda Bahnia (School of Economics and Business / MBTI / 2015), and Nabilla Dyah Eka P. (School of Applied Science / Management Marketing / 2015) won the second position. The 1st was won by Unsoed.
Competition Handling Search Tel-U Tina Fuzzy Agustin told that the strategies used in order to be the winner that was with practice and remain calm for every competition.
“Since we bring a good name of alma mater, we want to look as much as possible. Therefore we vigorous exercise in order to provide the best to the jury and other participants, “said Tina.
Tina added, this kind of competition able to excel greatly to the experience especially the national arena, where Tina hope that through events like this can motivate other students to be able to foster competition. “Join the fun events like this because it could bring the good name of Telkom University on the national stage and find more relationships and experiences” she said.
