Bandung, TELKOM UNIVERSITY โ One of the lecturers of the School of Electrical Engineering at Telkom University, Kris Sujatmoko, again won an award as Visionary Educator 2022. The award was given by UiPath Academic Alliance Educators, which is an award for teachers/campuses based on the contribution of increasing students related to automation skills (Robotic Process Automation). , RPA). It is the second time that Kris Sujatmoko has won the award.
This program is attended by more than a thousand universities from various countries. A total of 2500 teachers then follow the assessment process, which includes skills (certified), contribution to industry and community, number of papers/publications, and number of activities in improving Automation skills. From the assessment, 17 winners were selected.
Kris explained that many companies are looking for workers in the RPA Automation field at Telkom University as RPA Developers and RPA Business Analysts. Telkom University also provides an opportunity to take certification in the RPA field.
UiPath Academic Alliance Telkom University also participates in RPA competitions, such as ICStar Hackaton, which has been held every year since 2020, and several students won Hackhaton 2020 and 2021. In 2022, more than 100 campuses will be involved in ICStar Hackhaton from Indonesia, Malaysia, and South Africa.
“The only way to prepare for a recession/crisis is to increase productivity. With RPA, employees will have the ability to multiply productivity and will have time for upskilling or reskilling. So it’s time to stay positive when conditions are difficult,” he explained.
Kris hopes that with this expertise that can increase productivity, Telkom University can contribute to facing the problems of the Indonesian Nation.
