BANDUNG, TEL-U – National Debate Competition in the Management Fair 2015 event organized by the Student Association IBI Darmajaya Lampung, Tuesday-Saturday (7-11 / 4), resulted in two teams of Telkom University as a winner.
Those teams are Telkom 1 team consist of Putri Meuthia Pratama MS (Business Administration), Mohammad Faisal Rynaldi AK (MBTI), and Danastri Candya Cakrawartya (Marketing Management) won second prize while Telkom 2 team consist of Ricky Aditya (Business Administration), Made Kevin Bratawisnu (MBTI), and Surya Dinda Princess (Communication Studies) placed third.
According Rynaldi, competition with theme “Through Creative Industry to be Indonesia Independently” lasted quite caustic. Because both teams had to play four times in the preliminary stages. Then the four teams with the highest points advance to the semifinals. It turns out that in this semifinal 1 team have to deal with Telkom team 2.
“Battle with the team from own campus is more challenging than the teams from other universities”, he said. Because according Rynaldi, they’ve been together determine the ability of the team from its own campus. Plus team 1 and team Telkom Telkom 2 is often practiced together before advancing the debate in this competition.
Moreover, these two teams are formed from SME Search Tel-U. Search SME themselves often do training and deepening of the material to its members who will participate in the competition. So that Telkom 1 and Telkom 2 become more mature to compete in this national debate competition. (Purel / EAD)
