Muhammadiyah University Yogyakarta Learned the Managerial Service of the University
Bandung, Telkom University – Muhammadiyah University Yogyakarta (UMY) on Monday (7/16) conducted a visitation to Telkom University. The meeting was held in the Multimedia Room, Bangkit Building. The purpose of this visitation is to perform a benchmark in the field of managerial services (supporting units) in a university applied by Telkom University.
“We hope that we are able to get input for the development of UMY in the future. We want to know about the managerial services at the university, “explained the Vice Rector II for Resources at UMY, Dr. Suryo Pratolo.
Participants who attended this morning were education staff from various fields, from faculty and rectorate. This visit is included in UMY’s 2-year program, namely domestic and foreign visits.
The discussion took place in a conducive way, each university explained the academic system that was already ICT-based. Some UMY staff showed their curiosity about Telkom University’s system, IGracias.
In addition to information system, UMY dug deeper about asset management applied here. Tel-U has a labeling application, so can find out when an asset needs to be updated. In the future, the two universities will share with each other anything related to managerial work within the university.
