TelU dan Poltekpar Lombok Jalin Kerjasama

BANDUNG, Telkom University – Committed together in producing human resources that can compete in the future, Telkom University together with Lombok Tourism Polytechnic (Poltekpar) have collaborated in organizing the threefold missions of higher education (Tridharma) and developing institutional resources.

This collaboration is stated in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which was signed by the Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Adiwijaya, and the Director of Lombok Poltekpar, Herry Rachmat Widjaja, at Telkom University Rectorate Building, Monday (9/1).

In this partnership, both parties have agreed to develop and organize Tridharma activities, such as education, research, and community service, as well as develop institutional resources in the future.

In the field of education, this includes lecturer exchanges, public lectures, seminars, and workshops. In the field of research, both parties will conduct joint research and publication activities, and both parties will carry out community service activities through the development of tourist villages and training to produce applied research that brings benefits for the community. For institutional development, both parties will jointly develop an entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Prof. Adiwijaya stated that this collaboration was a form of support for Telkom University’s vision to become a research and entrepreneurial university, so there would be many possible partnerships that could be created.

“Tel-U also has a Hospitality Study Program, and together we can produce research and innovation that lead to entrepreneurs so that the created innovations can later be used to build tourist villages not only in West Java and Lombok but also throughout Indonesia.”

Welcoming this collaboration well, Herry Rachmat Widjaja said that Poltekpar really wanted to work with Telkom University because Telkom University had a myriad of achievements and outstanding human resources.

“You could say that we were drawn towards Tel-U because Tel-U has excellent human resources; we want to learn more deeply from Tel-U; and we hope that this collaboration will help us build Indonesia in the future, particularly in the fields of tourism and entrepreneurship.”
