TESCA ( Telkom Smart Campus Award ) is an award given Telkom to public and private universities in Indonesia. Especially in the aspects of the implementation of information and communication technology. In the event TESCA, IT Telkom obtain an index value of 4.040 from 5000 scale. The award took place at Dharmawangsa South Jakarta, Wednesday ( 05/01/2013 ).
TESCA is Begian of Telkom’s commitment to encourage universities in Indonesia, doing a variety of acceleration to improve quality through the utilization of information and communication technology in teaching and learning practices on campus . In 2013, TeSCA have measured 551 college consists of 59 public universities and 492 private universities. As well as covering all types of public universities, namely college (99 campuses), institutions (29 campuses), polytechnic (45 Campus) , high school (201 campus) and University (177 campus) are spread in 26 provinces .
Institute Technology Telkom (now Telkom Engineering School) achieved first rank award Telkom Smart Campus Award (TESCA) in 2013 for the category of the institute . Followed by Institute Management Telkom ( now Telkom Business School ) took second place in the category of the institute, and Telkom Polytechnic (now Telkom Applied Science School) in the third position for the Polytechnic category .
