Moscow Engineering Physics Institute pays a visit to Tel-U School of Electrical Engineering

Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPHI) Russia visited Telkom University on Tuesday, (18/1). The visit was aimed at strengthening the international collaboration between Tel-U and MEPHI. Furthermore, the discussion between the two universities focused more on similarities particularly in the School of Electrical Engineering of Tel-U.

Vice-Rector for International Affairs of MEPHI, Prof. Dmitry Savkin addressed that the collaboration between two universities was expected to provide collaborative opportunities in the future.

“I think we can communicate online more intensively after this meeting. We are both looking for relevant courses between MEPHI and Tel-U, collaborative works that are very likely to be carried out are among others joint research, students, and lecturers exchange and more that can provide benefits for the two parties.” Said Dmitry.

The visit, held in Telkom University Landmark Tower, was attended by the dean and all heads of Study Programs from the School of Electrical Engineering. During his speech, the dean of School of Electrical Engineering expressed high appreciation for his visit to Tel-U. The International collaboration has become one of the missions promoted by Tel-U.

“We are all open to partnership, both national and international. We believe that the MEPHI visit to Tel-U has become the initial step to a variety of collaborations in the future. All lecturers in Tel-U, as I am convinced, are enthusiastic in exchanging knowledge and learning new things from MEPHI.” said Bambang.
