Telkom University Gives Awards to Outstanding Graduates

Saturday, March 18, 2023, Telkom University (Tel-U) held the period II of graduation for the 2022/2023 academic year. Out of the total 1.303 graduates, seven graduates from every faculty received awards from Tel-U for their outstanding achievement in student affairs.

At the school level, the outstanding graduates were Ikbal Ramdani from School of Electrical Engineering (FTE), Hanif Muflihul Anwar from School of Industrial Engineering (FRI), Kurniadi Ahmad Wijaya from School of Computing (FIF), Tiara Putri Panduwangi from School of Economics and Business (FEB), Ni Luh Putu Febriyanti Suntari Devi from School of Communication and Business (FKB), Bhanu Prabasworo from School of Creative Industries (FIK), and Dewa Aditya Armanda from School of Applied Sciences (FIT).

In addition to awards for outstanding graduates at the faculty level, Tel-U also granted awards at the university level. There were three graduates at this level, the first best was Hanif Muflihul Anwar, the second best was Kurniadi Ahmad Wijaya and the third best was Ni Luh Putu Febriyanti Suntari Devi.

Beside getting a very satisfying GPA, these outstanding graduates get many achievements. For instance, Hanif Muflihul Anwar got first place in the MILE ZERO PROJECT x Google Competition in 2022. During his speech at the graduation, Hanif expressed his joy and gratitude.

“Of course, it is not about me, but it is about all of us. The road is quite far, sometimes it has holes, or even dead-end. But now, we are gathering here, reaching a point that we are not expected to be at this point. Thank the creator, God, our parents, ourselves, and those who bleed with us,” Hanif said in his speech.

Sense of pride surrounded the achievements of the graduates. This pride becomes the very first steppingstone in reaching much bigger dreams. Hanif closed his speech by inviting all graduates to continue learning.

“So, stay hungry and stay foolish. Let this day become a moment to make ourselves the eternal learners because in fact, learning is not merely in the class, instead, it is everywhere, and with everyone,” Hanif said to close his speech.
