JAKARTA, TEL-U – mobile broadband technology continues to evolve in line with increasing the market demand. To that end, Telkom University (Tel-U) as one of the universities based on ICT prepares researchers who conduct integrated research to answer this evolution.

” Research conducted at Tel-U will be directed to prepare the content for 5G technology support. Later, when 5G technology is implemented, then the content is ready, ” said Tel-U Rector, Prof. Ir Mochamad Ashari, M.Eng., Ph.D.

Rector statement was disclosed on the sidelines of the training Huawei Certified Network Asociate (HCNA) in The Sultan Hotel Jakarta, Tuesday (19/5). Earlier, General Manager Marketing Solution Huawei Indonesia Mohammad Rosidi said the 4G LTE becomes a very reliable technology in providing higher speeds, especially in presenting video content and content applications.

“But consumer behavior is constantly changing to quality multifunction electronic services. So 5G as the next generation of mobile broadband will soon bring a hundred billion connections by a thousand times higher than 4G, “he said.

In this event also attended by the Minister of Communication and Information, Rudiantara, as well as representatives from the eight universities that have collaborated in the activities of Student Traing HCDA (Datacom) and HCNA (Network) internationally certified and SKKNI.
