BANDUNG, TEL-U – Student Activity Unit SEARCH Telkom University (Tel-U) successfully held a nationwide competition called Java Business Competition (JBC). Competitions were held on 2-4 October 2015 held in Tel-U campus and Bandung Indah Plaza. This event was attended by students from various universities throughout Indonesia.
This year is the fourth of JBC. Entitled “Entrepreneurial Spirit to Enhance Growth in Indonesia’s Economic Competition of the ASEAN Economic Community”, JBC bring into four branches competition, there were Marketing Debate, Call for Papers, Business Simulation and Entrepreneur Festival (E-Fest).
“All branches of the competition had various due date and teams who passed the selection are invited to Tel-U and advance to the next round,” SEARCH wrote in a press release sent Tuesday (27/10).
The first day JBC opened the seminar “Stop Dreaming, Start your Business” which is filled by the speaker Riezka Rahmatiana (Owner Just Mine Pisang Ijo), Abdul Majid Al Zindani (President & Share Holder PT. Style Realty and CEO & Founder Alzin Group) and Muhammad Ramadan SE (Owner Guten Inc.). This seminar succeeded in drawing attention of more than 700 participants.
After the seminar, the activities continued with the Technical Meeting (TM) for the three branches of the race, namely Marketing Debate, Call for Papers, and Business Simulation to provide technical information about the competition and provides information on Tel-U.
The second day was held a presentation of the top 20 Call For Paper, allowance race Debate Marketing, as well as the allowance 20. Business Simulation using JA Titan software. At the same time held the Technical Meeting (TM) for the competition s Entrepreneur Festival (E-Fest) to provide technical information about the race and the conditions in Bandung Indah Plaza (BIP), given the JBC this year is the first held outside campus Tel- U.
While on the third day held some activities such as Final Business Simulation and Marketing Debate and product presentation for participants E-Fest, which was centered on the BIP. The event ended with the distribution of prizes to the winners.
