Rector Invited International Students to Recognize the New Culture

BANDUNG, TEL-U – Rector of Telkom University (Tel-U) Prof. Dr. Mochammad Ashari, M.Eng., Ph.D. welcomed new international students this year, in Bangkit building, Monday (31/8). Those International students come from 11 countries: United States, Venezuela, Italy, Hungary, Zimbabwe, Cambodia, Tarzikistan, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Malaysia and Bangladesh.

“Welcome to the Telkom Group. Telkom University is part of a large family of Telkom Group and you are part of Telkom Group, “says Rector.

He explained, the phrase ‘Semangat pagi a.k.a Morning Spirit’ become a culture which is prevailed in Telkom Group, including Tel-U. The phrase was indicates that Tel-U always keep the spirits throughout the day.

“You can learn new cultures that exist throughout Indonesia, especially in this campus,” said Rector. Rector also suggested that international students can expand friendships with Indonesian students. So after becoming alumni and return to their respective countries later they already have a network with friends in Indonesia.

Rector also ensure, Tel-U remains open to alumni of international class to establish a relationship. (purel / risca)
