Tel-U held a coordination meeting for Academic Advisor of the Academic Year 2022/2023 in the Auditorium of School of Applied Science. The meeting is regularly held when entering a new semester, with the purpose of socializing programs that will be pursued in the upcoming semester.
On this occasion, Tel-U invited a lecturer of the Management Department of Airlangga University, Dr. Gancar Candra Premananto as the speaker. Gancar delivered a presentation regarding Academic Service Excellence. According to him, the academic community in Tel-U should be able to provide an excellent service to the stakeholders.
“By implementing service excellence in the campus ground, we synergize to form a positive attitude for the entire Tel-U academic community. Therefore, we can foster trust and satisfaction among stakeholders, leading to greater recognition of this campus (Tel-U) for its outstanding service.” said Gancar.
Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya began his speech by expressing appreciation for the educational contributions of all attending lecturers. He also expressed that the service excellence that lecturers, as educators, could do was by being a good role model that inspires students with goodness and usefulness.
“First off, I would like to show gratitude and appreciation for all attending lecturers. Surely, in the future, we should improve our quality and service excellence by implementing HEI values in daily activities. We instill in ourselves to always give our best every day.” said Adiwijaya.
The rector also hoped that by being inspirational, lecturers would help create a profile of Tel-U students who excel not only in terms of soft and hard skills but are also capable of becoming a generation that brings benefits, inspires others, and has noble character.
The academic advisor meeting will also be held in each school. The lecturers will be given direct guidance to prepare for the upcoming teaching activities which starts on February 20, 2023.
