Rabu Nusantara, Tel-U Takes Steps to Strengthen Corporate Culture

The Directorate of Human Capital Management (SDM) of Tel-U held an event named ‘Kersa Warming Up’, which serves as a kick-off program for Tel-U’s Cultural Program in 2023. The event took place in Rumah Joglo Tel-U on Tuesday (22/2) in the presence of every KIPAS BUDAYA – Kersa team at Telkom University.

The ‘Kersa Warming Up’ event was held with the intention to strengthen the corporate culture in Tel-U, which are Harmony, Excellence, and Integrity (HEI Tel-U).  Furthermore, the inauguration of the Rabu Nusantara program was also carried out at the event. The program aims at strengthening our love for the homeland and as a form of appreciation towards diversity or kebhinekaan.

The head of Planning, Culture, and Performance, Dr. Maulana Rezi Ramadhana explained that the Rabu Nusantara program aimed to strengthen the corporate culture at Tel-U, by implementing the use of traditional attire for Tel-U academic community.

“All employees and lecturers have to wear a traditional attire from their own origin or may make adjustments in order to strengthen our love for the nation. Alhamdulillah, the program has been inaugurated. Let’s warmly welcome and implement the program together.” said Rezi.

Positive corporate culture is known to be able to contribute a number of benefits for the organization, such as improving the employees’ productivity, motivation, and performance and increasing overall satisfaction and reputation of the company.

Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya who was present to inaugurate the Rabu Nusantara program, conveyed that by embodying the HEI values, we can promote goodness for all.

Insya Allah, the Rabu Nusantara will help us shape a positive mindset. With this positive mindset, it will become good behavior, habit, culture, as well as character. We have to believe that the HEI values must be consistently maintained. With HEI, we can also create national and international impacts.” said Adiwijaya.

‘Kersa Warming Up’ is the first cultural program  of Tel-U in 2023. In the future, there is a wide variety of cultural programs to be held. A number of big events will become flagship events of Tel-U cultural program, including: Leader’s Talk, Ngawangkong (Inspirative talk with inspiring employee), Ngopi Bang (Inspirative chit-chat with leaders & employees – Ngobrol Santai Inspiratif Bareng Pimpinan & Pegawai), Tel-U Cup 2023, Culture Festival, and Kersa Bootcamp.
