GLOW 2021, Creating Quality of Learning International Standard

BANDUNG, Telkom University – Telkom University through the International Class Academic Office (ICAO) again held the 2021 Global Learning Week (GLOW) program, where the program, which has been running for 5 years, is an annual program routinely held by Telkom University.

GLOW 2021 Presents 9 teaching staff from 5 countries namely Spain, England, South Korea, India, and Malaysia. At the opening of GLOW 2021 which will take place online, Monday (26/7), and in its implementation, the 9 foreign teachers will be accompanied by 9 lecturers from Telkom University.

In this program, the 9 teaching staff will teach in 6 Faculties and 9 International Class Study Programs, including the School of Electrical Engineering (FTE) for the Telecommunication Engineering study program, and Electrical Engineering, the Informatics School (FIF) for the Informatics Engineering study program, School of Industrial Engineering (FRI) for Industrial Engineering and Information Systems study program, School of Economics and Business (FEB) for ICT Business Management study program, School of Communication and Business (FKB) for Business Administration and Communication Studies study program, and School of Creative Industries (FIK) for Visual Communication Design study program.

A total of 1,089 international students at Telkom University will take part in this program virtually, where for 2 weeks, starting from July 26, 2021, to August 6, 2021, students will use the LMS (Learning Management System) provided by Telkom University.

LMS is Telkom University e-Learning, a Moodle-based application that can be used by Entities at Telkom University in conducting Asynchronous-based learning.

Telkom University Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Dadan Rahadian expressed his gratitude to the teaching staff who were willing to share their knowledge and join this program, so that they were able to provide new experiences to Telkom University students.

“Thank you to all the teachers, hopefully together we can produce the best generation in the future. And keep the spirit for Telkom University students who take part in this program, hopefully, this will be a new experience in undergoing international education,” he said.

Jia Uddin (Woosong University, South Korea) teaching Speech Signal Processing

Dinesh Tandon (Chitkara University, India) teaching Financial Management

Manpal Singh Setia (Chitkara University, India) teaching Design Thinking & Design Methodology

Abdul Mutalib Embong, Ph.D. (University Malaysia Terengganu, Malaysia) teaching Intercultural Communication

Izuan Fahmi Bin Romli, Ph.D. (Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Malaysia) teaching Renewable Energy

Prof. Safian Sharif (Universiti Teknologi Malaysia) teaching Product Design and Development.
