Digital PR dan Diskominfo Hadapi Tantangan Komunikasi Digital

Bandung, Telkom University – Facing communication challenges in the digital era, Bachelor of Digital Public Relation Study Program, Telkom University School of Communication and Business has carried out pentahelix collaboration. One of the activities is to involve Bandung Department of Communication and Information (Diskominfo) as a government representative. This activity was held in the hall on the fifth floor of Intata Building, School of Communication and Business, Tuesday (10/1).

This activity symbolizes the collaboration between School of Communication and Business and Bandung Department of Communication and Information and continues to the closure of a series of activities called “PR Practitioners Talk V.2”.

The dean of School and Communication and Business, Ade Irma Susanty, Ph.D addressed that the pantahelix collaboration was required to solve recent challenges in digital communication.

“In conducting the research and investigation into the problems occurring in our community, we, academia, need full support from the government of Indonesia as a source of information in relation to the development and problems in the community. This research was needed by business parties in order to meet the needs of the community. The community was also involved in giving additional information as well as the actors. In addition, the media played an important role in broadcasting the activities” said Ade Irma during her speech.

This activity was designed in a public lecture together with Darto Ap., MM as a secretary of the Department of Communication and Information, Dr. Martha Tri Lestari and Hadi Purnama M.S as a Team Teaching of Digital Public Relation course subject. By holding this event, it is expected that students of Digital Public Relation will be able to answer the challenges in digital communication and have the opportunity to take part in the internship program in the Department of Communication and Information Office in Bandung.
