Telkom University Becomes a Vaccine Center for the YPT Group Family

BANDUNG, Telkom University – Successfully holding a vaccination program for the academic community of Telkom University (Tel-U), and the community in the Bandung Regency area, Telkom University has once again become a vaccine center for the Telkom Education Foundation (YPT) extended family.

The first dose of Sinovac vaccination took place at the Manterawu Building, Telkom University, on Thursday (23/9).

In collaboration with the West Java Regional Police (POLDA JABAR) and Alumni of the Faculty of Medicine UNPAD ’84, more than 2,182 people have been vaccinated. This number includes people over the age of 12, consisting of students from Telkom School from junior high school to senior high school and vocational school in Bandung, as well as families of YPT group employees.

According to the Vice-Rector for Resources at Telkom University Andijoko Tjahjono, the implementation of the vaccination program at Tel-U for the YPT extended family is a form of Tel-U’s support, especially to the government in the success of the vaccination program in Indonesia, as well as an effort to grow group immunity or Herd Immunity in Indonesia in the big family of the Telkom Education Foundation.

“Even though we have already undergone the first dose of vaccination, we ask the students and all the fathers and mothers who received the vaccine to continue to comply with the health protocols, and to always be vigilant, because this pandemic is not over yet.”
