Telkom University Received Appreciation for the OJK Inclusion Program

Bandung, TELKOM UNIVERSITY – Telkom University (Tel-U) received an appreciation for the Inclusion Program from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Regional Office 2 West Java. This appreciation is given to financial inclusion movers as a form of support for community leaders and educational institutions who have increased financial literacy and inclusion in West Java. It was conveyed by the Head of OJK Regional Office 2 West Java, Indarto Budiwitono, at the closing of the 2022 Financial Inclusion Month (BIK) at the West Java level at Gedung Sate Bandung, Saturday (4/11).

Indarto Budiwitono said the series of Financial Inclusion Month activities that have been implemented could contribute to realizing a West Java society that is not only ‘well inclusive’ but also ‘well literate.’ People can utilize financial products and services according to their needs, accompanied by a good understanding of the product. And financial assistance was provided.

Various activities have been carried out by OJK West Java Regional Office 2 to encourage financial literacy and inclusion, one of which is by holding a Financial Education Talkshow and OJK Goes to Campus, opening a stock account for students and a blood donation event which took place at Tel-U in October 2022.

Director of Secretariat and Strategic Planning Dr. Anisah Firli, who represented Tel-U when receiving the award, said that this program benefits the younger generation by increasing financial literacy. Students need to have the habit of saving and sound financial planning.

“Financial is a field that cannot be separated from daily life, so students need to know and invest in financial products that provide many benefits in the future. Thank you to OJK for appreciating the Inclusion Program for Tel-U. I hope this can motivate students to be wiser in using financial products and services.”
