Telkom University Undergoes Internal Quality Audit

BANDUNG, Telkom University – Improving the quality of higher education is the main thing at Telkom University. Therefore, the Internal Quality Audit (AMI), routinely held by the Internal Audit Unit (SAI) of Telkom University two times a year, was held this December again.

At the opening meeting of AMI II, which took place online, Thursday (16/12), Head of Telkom University Internal Audit Unit, Roswan Latuconsina, explained that the purpose of AMI II this time was to check compliance with ISO 20000-1:2018, ISO 21001 standards: 2018 and ISO 27001:2013.

“We will focus on identifying and managing risks, achieving targets, conducting management review meetings, and resolving pre-assessment AMI and AME surveillance findings.” Obviously.

AMI II will last for one week, from December 16, 2021, to December 22, 2021. All faculties will attend the Academic Directorate and the Directorate of Postgraduate and Advance Learning, the Directorate of Human Resources, Finance, Logistics, the Directorate of Marketing & Admissions, the Directorate of Student Affairs, Directorate of Alumni, Directorate of PPM, Directorate of Central Information Technology and Directorate of Secretariat and Strategic Planning.

“The audit criteria this time based on ISO include ISO 20000-1:2018 regarding SMS which includes three services: Internet Service, Attendance System, and IS Development, then ISO 27000: 2013 Annex Control on TUNE Internet Services, and ISO 21001: 2018 about EOMS which includes processes at the Faculty, Student Affairs, Admissions, Tracer Study, and Research and Community Service at Telkom University,” Roswan said.

Telkom University routinely holds AMI to continue to improve itself to produce a good quality university education. According to Roswan, Tel-U routinely holds AMI twice a year. The first successful AMI was held last April, and the second is now December.

“This second AMI will take place from December 1, 2020, to December 11, 2020. We are considering the current worrying condition of the COVID-19 pandemic. We will carry out this activity online, and thank God the first AMI was successfully carried out online.” Obviously.
