President Commissioner of PT. Telkom Indonesia: I Am Amazed By Tel-U’s Research Results

BANDUNG, Telkom University – The first thing that made me come to the Telkom University campus was that I wanted to see the research and innovation results at Telkom University.

The President Commissioner of PT conveyed it. Telkom Indonesia Prof. Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro, during a scientific oration at the Telkom University Dies Natalis and Graduation period III FY 2021/2022, which took place Saturday (27/8) at the Telkom University Convention Hall.

According to Prof. Bambang, Telkom University’s track record of research and innovation results is advanced, even able to compete with most universities which are much older and more significant in scale, and can also be considered the best among other private universities.

“I am amazed that Tel-U can facilitate and encourage students to do research with lecturers. I hope that in the future, Tel-U graduands will be able to produce good research and entrepreneurs in the field of technology and digital technology,” he said.

In his scientific oration, Prof. Bambang also encourages Telkom University graduates to become entrepreneurs who are adaptive to changes in existing technology.

“Why do I emphasize Tel-U graduates to become entrepreneurs, because I see developed countries both in Europe and Asia, that developed countries do not only have professionals, researchers, and others but are balanced with the number of entrepreneurs.” Obviously.

As a university that is committed to continuing to contribute to the nation, Prof. Bambang said that he was sure that Telkom University would be able to produce a generation of people who were able to realize the dreams of the founders of Indonesia.

“Currently, the Indonesian nation lacks experts in technology and digital, and I believe Tel-U can cover this shortfall by producing more experts who will later be able to meet the talent needs in the field of digital technology.” Obviously.

In this event also took place the delivery of innovation resulted in the form of an electric motor which is a program for converting fuel motors into electric motors and ambulance services for humanity in the Kab. Bandung from PT. Telkom Indonesia by the President Commissioner of PT. Telkom Indonesia Prof. Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro to Dr. Erwin Rinaldi, Head of the Regional Research and Development Planning Agency (BAPPELITBANGDA) Bandung Regency.
