BANDUNG, Telkom University: SMK Cendikia Rancakalong Sumedang is a vocational high school established by the Cendekia Cipta Utama Education Foundation. The location of this school is close to the provincial road, and in its surroundings, there are seven public and private junior high schools.
SMK Cendikia Rancakalong, Sumedang Regency, provides education with competency in Computer & Network Engineering, Motorcycle Engineering & Business, and Office Automation & Governance supported by professional teachers. Based on data from the Ministry of Education and Culture, SMK Cendikia Rancakalong has 21 teachers and 130 students. The school has classrooms, laboratories, and libraries.
This school has a vision that it wants to achieve: the Growth of Agile, Educated, Islamic, and Moral People in a Clean, Effective, and Successful Environment. One of the missions to support this vision is to Organize Vocational Education with a Mastery Learning Approach through Apperception, Exploration, Elaboration, and Conspiracy supported by Literacy Culture.
To support this literacy culture, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Telkom University collaborated with the Faculty of Communication and Business (FKB) to organize Community Service activities with the theme of Improving the Quality of Digital-Based Education for Teachers of SMK Cendikia Rancakalong Sumedang.
This activity was held on June 13, 2022. This activity was realized through training in Digital Financial Literacy, e-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Motivation, Self Development, Personal Branding, and Public Speaking.
The training materials were delivered by FEB and FKB lecturers. They are competent in their fields, including Dr. Cahyaningsih, Dr. Astrie Krisnawati, Refi Rifaldi Windya Giri, M.B.A., Osa Omar Sharif, M.S.M., Puspita Wulansari, PhD., Diah Agung Esfandiari, M.Sc., Indra Novianto Adibayu Pamungkas, Sylvie Nurfebiaraning, M.Si., and Adi Bayu Mahadian, M.I. com.
The result of this training activity is an increase in motivation and ability for self-development, forming personal branding, and public speaking skills that teachers of SMK Cendikia Rancakalong Sumedang can apply to improve the quality of education. Teachers of SMK Cendikia Rancakalong Sumedang can also enhance their understanding and practical skills in digital finance, digital marketing, and e-Commerce to equip teachers to develop their businesses and can be applied in learning.
Teachers as educators are expected to apply these various understandings and abilities in learning to build an entrepreneurial spirit so that students can compete in the business and industrial world: business and industry.
