Telkom University Receives Two Appreciations for DTS 2021 Partners from Kominfo

Telkom University received the Digital Talent Scholarship (DTS) Partner Appreciation from the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) at the Appreciation Day event on Wednesday (15/12). This program is one of the government’s breakthroughs through the Ministry of Communication and Information to accelerate the provision of digital talent for digital transformation needs. This flagship program prepares digital talent in Indonesia initiated by the Ministry of Communication and Information.

Telkom University won two awards at once. In addition to appreciation for the Telkom University campus itself, appreciation was also given because Tel-U had the first Telecom Infra Project (TIP) Laboratory in Southeast Asia. This appreciation was received directly by the Director of Strategic Partnership & International Office, Lia Yuldinawati.

“This award is a source of pride for the Tel-U family and an impetus for us to support various government programs in terms of digital printing talents in the future,” said Lia.

Before the pandemic, Telkom University had prepared various tools to support online learning (e-learning) through the Center for e-Learning and Open Education (CeLOE). Technically, lecture materials are converted into digital content that students from anywhere can access.

It is one of the excellent facilities owned by Tel-U to contribute to the country and support various government programs in printing quality digital talents in the future.

The DTS Program is a digital skills training program initiated by Kominfo in 2018. This program is designed to improve people’s skills and competitiveness in the digital sector at the technical or intermediate level. The DTS program is divided into eight training academies, ranging from those for the younger generation, such as the Fresh Graduate Academy (FGA), to training for the general public, such as the Digital Entrepreneurship Academy (DEA).
