University of Tadulako visited Tel-U to Learn ICT Management

University of Tadulako visited Tel-U on Friday (20/1) to learn how Tel-U manages ICT to the entire campus and opens the opportunity of future collaborations as expressed by the Rector of University of Tadulako, Prof. Dr. Ir. Mahfudz, MP.

“Through our visit, apart from strengthening cooperation, we also wanted to study ICT implementation at Tel-U so Tadulako University could become an IT-based campus. We would like to accelerate IT development in order to create useful innovative technology products for the academic community and the community in general.” Expressed Mahfudz.

Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya, the rector of Telkom University, expressed that IT development had to be continuously developed, today solutions might not be able to solve future problems. Therefore, improvements need to be done on a continuous basis.

“There is always room for development, especially in the IT field. Tel-U nowadays has implemented ICT in various lines so that everything is integrated. One set of data we are currently working on is one of our innovative products which can help users and management to make data-based decisions. Tel-U is always open to any collaborations both national and international” said Adiwijaya.

Another discussion during this visit was the Tel-U academic portal which is called iGracias (Integrated Academic Information System) and the mobile application called MyTel-U The discussion was expected to inspire the University of Tadulako to implement similar things and to carry out IT development together with Tel-U.
