Sejak pandemi Covid-19 pada 2020 hingga 2021 serta tingginya Penyakit Mulut dan Kuku (PMK), pembatasan interaksi fisik mendorong Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Peternakan (DKPP) untuk mengubah metode pemeriksaan hewan kurban dari manual ke sistem digital guna menjaga efisiensi, efektivitas, dan keamanan.
